How can I change my APPEARANCE when I come back to school?

hey im 16 and i was just wondering if I can get any ideas on how to change my appearance when I go back to school. Ofcourse Im doing it to look better, but mostly I'm doing it to make myself happy. Info below



Black/Brown Hair (i would get highlights, but I dont want to make my hair look orange, or really light because im part asian and I can look really bad with it.)



Poofy hair- I straighten it every day



I wear eyeliner,mascara,some eyeshadowand I have gray eyes



I weigh about 123 and im 5'3/5'4 .Last year I used to weigh 110, and i REALLY want to get back to it. Ive tried so many ways but I can't seem to lose it. Morning- I eat apples.Lunch-toast and something else., and other stuff at dinner. I'm planning to eat just salad for dinner. I run 15 minutes.When I gain weight, it comes to my thighs and face. so my face looks bloated.but i have a big butt



I usually wear casual dresses, lacoste polo and bermuda shorts



I am double pierced. I want a cartilage piercing

Ok to start, you could change your hair color for a more reddish tone. That has always looked gorgous on my best freind who sounds like you. Her hair is still brown, but when she gets out in the sun, you can see that beautiful hint of red.



Another thing you can do, is make your hair to be medium brown, a shade or two lighter then yours right now. Also, try changing up the make up your using. Don't use black eyeleyner, use a medium brown, that will make your eyes look much bigger, and besides, everyone uses black.



Also try curling up your eyelashes with an eyelash curler, that will make them pop also.



Now with your hair, try curling it every once in a while!



That will look very different on you.



Now I don't know what color eyeshadow your using, but i think that a light pinkish eyeshadow would make you look beautiful with the medium to light brown eyeleyner. It looks gorgouse on my friend. (by the way she has a palish yellow face so that is why it looks so nice on her)



oh yea, finaly, put blush on, not too much though, you dont want to look like a clown. just enough to make it look natural. you will look totaly healthy.



now with your fitness, this is a common mistake people your age do. they almost go anerexic. an apple in the morning? bread for lunch and a salad for dinner???



did you know that everytime you skip a meal or you eat less than what your body needs, your stomach will feel that not the appropriate amount of food is coming into it, so it will send signals to your brain that something is wrong, therefore, your brain will tell your hormones, to start sTORING the fat, instead of burning it, so when you do the 15 minute exersizes, there will be no effect. so eat right girl!



and by the way, i think you should break it up and do 5 minutes in the morning after breakfast, then 10 after school, and 5 before you go to sleep. that way you will be burning calories all day.

Try Low Lights instead of High Lights. Such as red, dark colors look more natural on dark hair.

well for the losing weight u not only have to eat right but u must also excercise for at least a half hour every day. also not eating is not a good thing. You should be eating i believe 1500 calories. eating only three small meals is not okay u need to keep ur metabolism moving, so snack on orange wedges, bananas but only a bit nothing fattening and veggies r good to snack on too. At ur age gaining weight will be happening since u are growing up. So just check that ur not covering ur face with lots of sweets and chips. And do the one thing most people dont, drink lots of water to keep ur face clear and ur skin hydrated.



about the change of appearance, a new makeup brand is a good idea go to the makeup counter at sephora or Macy's or nordstrom and ask them that u want to try a new makeup style and they will do it for free u can try a different face and its free it u dont like it just take it off. Makeup along with a new hairdo always makes a difference. Sometimes we dont think somethign looks good on us until we have it on for a while. So try the different looks by looking at magazines and seeing what makeup style u like also for the hair try something totally different or go to a wig place to see how diff. colors and styles look. remember hair can also grow back and u can always dye it!!

Cut your hair in layers and get a bang or sidebang. Buy some new clothes, that are in style. Good idea about losing the weight maybe you could get a manicure and make some new friends.

Are you kidding me 15 minutes is not enough exercise the minimum is supposed to be 30 minutes, but since you're a teenager you should go for 60 minutes and thats not even just to lose weight it's just something you should just do. Also you're not eating enough protein from what you described your diet as, which will make it harder for you to lose weight due to the fact that protein helps build lean muscle not as in bulging arms or anything but as in toned thighs and a flat stomach. Protein also keeps you satisfied longer which helps it so you don't crave for junk food and the such.
