Suggestions for eyeshadow colour?

...For someone with black eyes (very very dark brown), black hair and fair skin (in other words, Asian).

What colour would be nice for casual gathering and formal occassions? Nothing too flirty. Simple and matured maybe? And if you have a video link on how to apply it, it would be better. Thanks :)

for a casual look, choose discreet shades.

1. brush your brows with a neutral shade of shadow, something closer to your skin colour, for Asian skins, something brownish/beige perhaps.

2. choose an eyeshadow in a lighter colour to highlight your brow bones. it will make you look more fresh and alert.

3. apply eyeliner to your upper lashlines and blend well- it has to be subtle, not too harsh.

work with shades that are in the same family basically. most of the time, i'd recommend a colour to go with what you're wearing. palette colours (light blue, light brown) might be good for casual gatherings. i like silvery shimmers to highlight my eyes sometimes too, depending on my mood.

you've to experiment with different colours to see what works well with your eyes, because you might have a different colour tone or you may carry a different style which defines you from other asians.

maybe some deep dark purples and violets, that would be appropriate for the season as long as you don't put too much on. I would put on your favorite neutral color on your lid and take a deep violet in the corner. good luck

dark and not too light and I use MAC Pigment

earth tones....but i prefer light purples, and magentas...

*apply a nude color all over you lid...from the brow to the lashline... then apply the darker shadow (ur browns or purples) in the creast and blend blend blend (most important thing = BLENDING) blend up...don't apply it so dark...

*avoid black liner... it will only make ur eye look smaller and darker...apply a brown liner or hey do what i do, use lip liner as eye liner...buy a purple lip liner and apply it in the eye...
