I am half mexican

My last name is Casillas (very mex huh)

I am 5.7 and thin. I have white skin. My hair is dark

and eyes green

Now; what do you think of this. Asian or other men are

interested in me. They ask me what am I. I say Mex

and they lose interest. Why is this ?

Also, people say *You dont Look Mexican !!*

I laugh and say *Does Cameron Diaz ??*

Please help

If someone judges you because of your race, good riddance! You are better without them, so good thing you found out soon enough! There are too many folks out there who will NOT judge you, so keep your mind focused on them!

First of all, I must say that Mexican is not a race. It is a nationality just as American is a nationality. Mexicans can be white, black, mestizo, amerindian, etc., just as Americans can be white, black, mestizo, amerindian etc.

If people lose interest in you because you say you're Mexican don't worry about it. If the right guy cares for you he won't care what nationality you are. I have a friend who is Chinese and he is going out with a Mexican girl who is white, with blue eyes and blonde hair. He doesn't care where she is from.

If people tell you you don't look Mexican just educate them and tell them that been Mexican is not a race. Before I came to live in the United States I thought all Americans were white but now I see that Americans can be Hispanic, Asian, black, Indian, and other races. By the way, Cameron Diaz is Cuban.

I feel you girl. Everybody just has that state of mind that all Mexicans are dark skinned. People always think I'm white and my last name is Mu甯給z. Just correct them every time they mistake you for another race, that is what I do.
