Color in Dubai?

OK. I went to a club in Dubai with my friends with different nationalities. The bouncer stopped my Asian friends (black hair, small eyes) asking some questions and ID. but never asked ME. They let me in!

it also happened in taxi, the driver was rude.

Was thinking maybe nextime my friends should colour their hair into blonde then they will get respect???

There is nothing like racism in Dubai or anywhere else in the world!! It is a myth!! Everyone everywhere is always unbiased towards skin color or complexion!!

NOT!

Racism is everywhere!! Some countries just hide it better than other countries. Isn't putting Red Indians in America in reserves racism? Isn't there racism in Australia between the Aborigines and the white Australians? Robert Mugabe taking white farmers' farms in Zimbabwe and NO ONE is saying anything about that! Only white South Africans are all marked as racist b%$tards by the rest of the world and are frowned at still for apartheid that was ended 12 years ago...

Even though white people in South Africa are denied jobs and jobs are given to black people (even if the white applicant do have better qualifications) It is called affirmative action.

I think the world thinks you're only a racist if your skin is white! Black people are not racists apparently, they are justified to screw the white people, they deserve it...

Strangely enough there is for example a black Music Awards Show. If it was a whites only Music Awards Show there will probably be massive drive by shooting sprees there...

OK so the point I want to make is that yes it is probably a racist standing at the door or racist club management (they hide behind the "certain groups of people can be seen as people that will not spend a lot of money in the club and may be refused enrty by doormen for that reason... Appropriate dress is another favorite excuse...)

This is not the first time that people complain about that in Dubai. There are numourous letters in the Dubai newspapers of similar incidents at clubs.

You probably look older then time, no offense. Asian girls look really young for their age, until they hit about 40. I know this because I'm Chinese and I'm surrounded by Chinese girls (family).
