ok i always compare myself to other pretty gurls, i want to be the best of the best and im carmel skin and thick and black and asian with long black curly hair. one gurl is a yellow bone ( really light) and has long brown spiral curls and is skinny like a model and has a baby face, i want a bigger , fuller lips and my skin to be brighter

and to lose weight.and maybe dye my hair chestnut brown. can anyway help me about my self esteem. is she prettier than me or what? like is she better cuz shes lighter and skinner, cuz i would look more good lightner and skinnier.

I totally understand how you feel as I have the same feelings about my self. I always think I'm fat and ugly and everyone is better then I am. Everyone tells me I'm crazy and yet I still feel the same. It doesn't matter what color or race you are, it matters whats inside the most. You can be the most prettiest person on the outside and if your ugly on the inside then you become ugly. And I would give anything to have your skin as I bake in the tanning bed so I don't look like Casper the friendly ghost. Don't be so hard on your self cause I believe you are a very beautiful person or you wouldn't be asking why you ain't confer table with your self. That shows you have feelings and you care. That's something allot of people lack today.. Love yourself and everyone will love you too... Best of luck hon..

I am black but I have slanted eyes so guys always asking me questions like do you have asian in you. Now I know for a fact that if guys are acting like this ova me, then you should have high self esteem!!! You sound pretty attractive to me! Some people actually prefer a little meat on their girlfriend/boyfriend. Just because someone's thinner and has a doll face doctored up with a gallon of makeup doesn't mean they're prettier than you! Beauty comes from within; the more beautiful you think you are, the more beautiful you'll appear to others. Oh honey, you are beautiful the way are. If you want to dye your hair and loose weight, that is up to do. I do the same thing (compairing mysekf to everyone else). People can be very judgemental. We are hardest on ourselves though. You can do little things to make you feel better about yourself....but you don't have to change anything about you. You don't need to lighten your skin, make your lips bigger, or even loose weight. We are all beautiful in our own way. You don't have to be skinny like a model to be pretty, in fact, I think they look scary that thin. Every one wants to improve their looks to be "prettier". But you need to be happy with you. You are unique, special, just the way you are.

It is the truly happy and blessed person who is happy with what they have. Work on accepting yourself - still take pride in your appearance, but try not to agonise over what you wish was different. All it will do is make you unhappy and make your self esteem go down to focus on those things that you think should be different.

Instead, think about all your good points and use those to your best advantage. Concentrate on your social skills, too - on how to be a good friend to both men and women. Make sure you are always proud to be the person you are by how you act.

If you do not get your pscyhe tamed down, your life will be a journey down the road of bolemia, annorexia and countless plastic surgeries. Female beauty only lasts into the middle twenties...if that. Then it is a long road downhill.

you shouldn't compare yourself to other people....they may have something that you don't but you also have something that they don't....God created all of us equally......i know how you feel because I'm a girl (Asian too). You should be proud of the way God designed you....but if you wanna dye your hair or exercise, that is perfectly fine too if it makes you feel better about yourself. For one ur not giving ur self enough credit for what u are worth, not looks wise im taking bout ur personality and what u can contribute to life. But some guys like that video girl look, which is more of a fantsy then reality bc most of them girls paid to look that way u have natural beauty that u didnt have to pay for, then the guys dont realize that their attitude does not fit their body and they arent looking to have one man but multiple men. Girl realize that when u have something that cant be taken away you have the world bc u have it all to urself and cant no one have it or take it. But beauty can always be take by life and its harsh ways so keep ur head, and dont forget (red bones), light skinned girls are played out they are very 90's. lmao

You need to believe in yourself. The girls that are on the tv screen got the money to cover up thier flaws. even beyonce have strech marks. Everything is not what it appears to be. I was uncomfortable about myself. I had to accept it and look around it could be alot worse. In your eyes you should be the best of the best then if it shows on the inside it will prevail on the out, other people will notice you and not them other people. Set yourself goals and use them "other" girls as motivation to reach those goals. Ive been there and done that and can't get the boys off me. They notice my eyes before anything else. Work it, girl. I got my man and he WAS crazy about a skinner and light skinned slut but she was a SLUT!!

Be yourself. Love yourself and do it right. Comparing to other is loosing time to improve or care for self. Do things for yourself and but others in a secound place. What I am saying is you are the queen of your world. The number one and the only one, most important. The best (in your case). Try to keep yourself in balance. Love others as you love yourself. You are equally beutiful and never less than or more than just equal. And always the queen. If you compare you will always loose, so stop you are the best.
